For many students and their families, high school years are consumed by the stress and confusion of the impending college application process and the questions that accompany it: What classes should I take? What extracurriculars should I pursue? Where should I apply to college? Can we afford college? How do I write a strong application? What should I study? What do I want to do after college? Should I go to college?
My goal as an independent partner in education is to support students and their parents throughout the process of evaluating and pursuing post-secondary education options. For many, this involves applying to a 4-year institution. For others, we will identify growth and development opportunities at gap year, volunteer and other programs.
Regardless of the path ultimately chosen, students who take time to explore questions about education, career and life goals, challenges, interests and needs are equipped to make informed decisions about making the most of high school, what they want to do next and why.
